We are seeking to recruit a new Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy Branch located on Sheridan Street, Cairns.

Overview

You will provide an honest and high-quality service designed to get our cars and customers on the road safely and quickly. This self-motivated and hardworking individual will meet the following criteria:

Minimum Cert IV Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

At least two years' experience working in the industry post-qualification

Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities

Sound auto-electrical knowledge

Ability to work autonomously

Effective time management and communication skills

A strong work ethic and attention to detail

Reliability

Team spirit

Full drivers' licence

General Responsibilities

Diagnostics and repair of mechanical and electrical faults

Ensuring safety and compliance of all vehicles

Provide a high level of service
