The Mechanic Mackay is seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our professional staff on a full-time basis.

Duties & responsibilities:

Perform regular servicing, diagnostics, and CONFIDENCE in fault finding on light vehicles

Mechanical repairs work

Assist Apprentices in their training

Use specialized equipment to diagnose and repair faults

Keep accurate records of all vehicle services and repairs

Provide excellent customer service, addressing concerns and explaining repairs clearly

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment

Experience & attributes:

Mechanical qualifications

Possess your own trade tools

Aircon & roadworthy tickets are advantageous

Self-motivated approach to work

Keen attention to detail

Diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

Ability to work unsupervised
