We are seeking an experienced Design & Release Engineer to lead the development of vehicle Body Exterior systems, from concept through to production release. This is a hands-on role in product development, where you will be responsible for managing design, supplier engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and release of Body Exterior systems across multiple vehicle programs.

Manage the full lifecycle of product development – from concept, through prototype builds, to final production release.

Own the Product Development (PD) elements of the APQP process and ensure clear communication of special characteristics across suppliers and manufacturing sites.

Drive design compatibility between all interfacing systems.

Facilitate and lead engineering processes such as BOM sign-off, FMEA, quality control plans, and design reviews with stakeholders including suppliers, Finance, Purchasing, CAE, Quality, and Manufacturing.

Support program work plans, supplier selection, and gateway deliverables to maintain program cost and timing targets.

Skills & Experience:

Must demonstrate strong background in vehicle design and development within Body Exterior systems.

Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Excellent interpersonal, persuasive, and team collaboration skills.

Highly motivated, professional, and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Demonstrated capability to plan and manage complex projects to successful delivery.
