About the Role:
Coastal Letting Co. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to oversee the upkeep and presentation of our holiday apartment portfolio to ensure a seamless experience for our guests and owners through proactive property care.

Key Responsibilities:

Positive, hands-on attitude and a genuine eye for detail

Oversee maintenance across 150+ holiday apartments

Develop an ongoing a preventative maintenance plan

Carry out minor repairs and preventative maintenance, including:

Patching, painting, and general cosmetic repairs

Minor plumbing tasks (e.g., leaking taps, blocked drains)

Furniture repairs and basic appliance troubleshooting

Maintain accurate records of maintenance works and compliance

Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers when required to attend to undertake maintenance tasks unable to be completed in house

Co ordinate with our Maintenance Manager and General Manager to obtain Owners approval before proceeding with repairs by outside contractors

Respond promptly to maintenance requests

Ensure apartments are presented to a high standard at all times

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a similar maintenance role

Trade background preferred but not essential

Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general property upkeep

Must hold a current driver’s licence
