Our client is a family owned business, manufacturing high quality, value added meat products and operating a retail gourmet market. They have been operating for nearly 70 years in the beautiful Lockyer Valley, west of Brisbane.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the main purpose of the role is to maintain the plant and equipment of the business with proactive preventative maintenance and breakdown repair.

Key Tasks will include:

Working safely with all Safe Food and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) protocols

General Handyman tasks

Repairs & maintenance of machinery

Coordinating with external contractors

Updating records for maintenance and parts required

Requirements to be considered:

Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role

Ability to meet and maintain consistent productivity standards

Ability to efficiently manage competing priorities to satisfactory outcomes

Working knowledge of machinery repair, gardening and general handyman duties

Experience with WH&S compliance

Forklift license
