With a capital works program exceeding $200 million, this is a standout opportunity for a skilled Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the region's future.

In this high-impact role, you'll take the lead on complex, large-scale building projects - overseeing everything from early planning to practical completion. If you thrive on-site, excel at managing contractors and consultants, and have a deep understanding of construction delivery in the public sector - we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the end-to-end delivery of major capital works projects ($40M-$200M)

Overseeing day-to-day site activity and contractor performance, ensuring timelines, safety, and quality are maintained

Managing procurement, tendering, contract administration, and reporting functions

Acting as the Superintendent's Representative for Council on major builds

Providing strategic reporting and insights to Executive teams and Project Sponsors

Ensuring governance, change management, and compliance frameworks are met

What You'll Bring

Demonstrated experience delivering complex building infrastructure projects in Australia, ideally within local government or similar

Proven ability to manage projects on-site daily, with strong hands-on experience in construction delivery

Background in project management and facility management with excellent stakeholder and contractor engagement skills

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related fields

Current White Card and Victorian Driver's Licence
