The role — why you’ll love it

As Area Manager, you’ll own the performance, culture and growth of five general dentistry practices offering implants, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. You’ll be hands-on in coaching front‑of‑house and clinical teams, optimising patient experience and KPIs, and delivering seamless project rollouts. This is a high-impact leadership role where your people-first approach meets operational muscle - lots of variety, real autonomy, and the chance to shape a region’s future.

What you’ll do

Lead and coach Practice Team Leaders and front-office teams to deliver warm, consistent, patient-centered experiences.

Oversee daily operations across sites: patient flow, scheduling, revenue cycle (health fund verification, collections, billing coordination) and clinical-operational alignment.

Own area performance: monitor KPIs, identify opportunities, set priorities and drive results.

Be the on-the-ground present - regular site visits, performance coaching, team engagement and culture building.

Manage recruiting, onboarding, rostering, retention and career development for your teams.

Lead project management for clinic initiatives: timelines, budgets, equipment procurement, vendor coordination, staff hires and launch readiness.

Ensure compliance with dental board standards; partner with clinical leaders on safety, documentation and infection control.

Maintain strong relationships with leadership, vendors and cross-functional teams.

About you

3–5+ years multi-site management experience in dental, healthcare or a fast-paced retail/service environment; experience across general dentistry, implants, orthodontics or cosmetic dentistry is highly regarded.

Proven track record coaching managers, driving KPIs and lifting patient experience.

Strong communicator and people leader - empathetic, energetic, decisive.

Comfortable balancing strategy with on-the-floor presence; thrives in a busy, dynamic environment.

Project management experience and familiarity with practice management software

Financially savvy with KPI tracking and performance improvement focus.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites.
