We’re creating a more strategic, agile and forward-looking workforce function—one that empowers our leaders and teams to thrive and continue delivering world-class care to the South Australian community.

About the Role

Join us in shaping the future of healthcare in South Australia. As CALHN’s Workforce Strategist, you’ll take the lead in creating bold, forward-thinking workforce strategies that tackle some of the most important challenges in health today. Working side-by-side with People & Culture and senior clinical leaders, you’ll influence decisions that directly improve patient care while helping us attract, develop and keep world-class talent. Health experience is highly desirable, and we welcome applicants from across Australia—our relocation package makes the move to Adelaide easy and exciting.

You’ll partner with our Workforce Analytics Team to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights, giving CALHN leaders the confidence to plan for the future. If you’re ready to grow your career in a large, dynamic organisation—gaining exposure to executive decision-making and workforce strategy at scale—bring your curiosity, creativity and drive, and help us build the workforce that delivers world-class care.

About You

You’re a strategic thinker and collaborative problem-solver who thrives on shaping the future of a large, complex organisation. Your ability to build strong relationships, turn data into insight and communicate with influence will help CALHN deliver workforce strategies that make a real difference to patient care.

  • Skilled Communicator – Confidently present complex ideas and negotiate outcomes with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Data-Driven Planner – Experienced in workforce analytics, forecasting and translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
