The Role

Junior Primary Teacher (R-2)

12-month contract, commencing January 2026 (Term 1)

We’re seeking a Junior Primary Teacher who will:

Deliver engaging and differentiated learning experiences across all Key Learning Areas, grounded in faith, hope, respect, and love, in line with our Josephite tradition.

Support students with diverse gifts, talents, and learning needs, collaborating with the Junior School team and Leader of Learning.

Establish a nurturing, faith‑centred, and academically stimulating classroom environment that supports wellbeing and encourages students to flourish.

Apply effective assessment and reporting practices that foster student growth and constructive feedback for both students and families.

Contribute to pastoral care, sharing our core values and embracing St Mary MacKillop's philosophy to, "Never see a need without doing something about it".

Work collaboratively with colleagues in curriculum development, and continuous professional learning to support excellence in teaching and learning.

Participate in school activities, co-curricular programs, and whole-school events.

Essential Position Requirements:

Current Teacher Registration

Working with Children Check (WWCC)

First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012)

RRHAN-EC Master Class Certificate
