About the role

Burrow Cafe is seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to join our team. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cafe and leading a talented team of baristas and kitchen staff.

What you'll be doing

Manage the cafe's staff, including training, scheduling and performance management

Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience for all cafe patrons

Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to the highest standard

Manage and maintain store KPI's to ensure growth and collaboration

Work closely with the Head Chef and cafe owner to uphold a high standard for a widely loved brand

Manage inventory, ordering and cost control to maximise profitability

Implement and monitor policies and procedures to maintain health, safety and compliance

Contribute to the development of the cafe's business strategy and growth plans

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience in a cafe or restaurant management role

Excellent customer service and people management skills

Proficient in inventory and financial management, with a strong understanding of profit and loss

Passion for the hospitality industry and a keen eye for detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Food safety and barista training qualifications are highly desirable
