We're looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive success.

Role Overview

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store. You'll lead and motivate your team, ensure operational excellence, and drive performance across sales, food safety, and customer experience. This role is hands-on and requires a strong leader who can balance people management with operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sandwich Artists and Shift Leaders

Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues quickly and effectively

Manage staff rosters, recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training

Ensure compliance with Subway's operational standards, policies, and food safety requirements

Monitor store performance, including sales targets, labour costs, and inventory control

Complete daily checklists, weekly reporting, and store audits

Oversee cash handling and banking procedures

Drive local store marketing initiatives and community engagement

Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Subway values

What We're Looking For

Previous management experience in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail

Minimum 6 months of management experience required

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to manage, train, and develop a team

A hands-on approach with a focus on customer service and operational excellence

Strong problem-solving and organisational skills

Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required

Knowledge of food safety, WH&S, and cash handling procedures

Australian work rights required for this position
