About the Opportunity
You will join a small, dynamic WHS team providing expert WHS advice and support across the University.
As WHS Advisor you will be responsible for:
- Serving as a WHS subject matter expert to provide support and guidance to stakeholders on safety and risk management activities
- Analysing safety data, developing and delivering WHS dashboard reports to inform strategic decisions
- Managing ECU's WHS system (Riskware) and providing system support to the University community
- Leading significant incident investigations
- Developing and improving WHS guidelines, systems, and training programs
About you
Our ideal candidate will be:
- Tertiary qualified, preferably within a WHS-related discipline, and/or possess an equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of training and experience
- Experienced in the development and delivery of WHS reports with Power BI experience highly regarded
- An excellent communicator with well-developed problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
