About the role
The Internal Risk Adviser (SME) will partner with new and existing small to medium sized clients, be their advocate, and deliver exceptional service and advice. Collaborating closely with our team of Professional Qualified Risk Advisers, this role will assist in the management and servicing of an existing portfolio of clients.
Duties
- Ensure all service and advice is provided in a fair and ethical manner and compliant with all relevant legislation, regulations, codes and Company policy and procedures
- Maintain professional relationships with Insurers for the provision of financial services
- Individual responsibility for portfolio development
Desired skills, experience & qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role in insurance or banking industry
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
- Superb relationship building and communication skills
- Competency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Minimum of Tier 1 (Insurance Broking or General Insurance) qualification required or willingness to achieve bridging qualifications.
