ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CONSULTANT –

About Us

Hunter Imaging is part of the Sonic Healthcare family of companies and is the premiere provider of diagnostic imaging services to Newcastle and surrounding regions.

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, we currently have an opportunity in our Accounts team for a full time, Accounts Receivable Consultant, based in our Administration office at Adamstown.

We are looking for a focussed individual who is interested in assisting Hunter Imaging to resolve outstanding patient accounts. In this role you will liaise extensively with our patients, health funds and insurance companies and will need to display a confident manner to enable you to pursue and collect payments or to follow up on delays or enquiries. You will have highly developed inter-personal and communication skills. You will also display strong personal work ethic and have the ability to achieve key targets.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

· A commitment to Customer Service

· Understanding of Medicare Billing Codes and Benefits Schedule, Insurance practices and AMA Codes would be beneficial

· Positive outgoing manner

· Ability to work in a ‘team’ environment

· Excellent Communication, Listening and Decision-Making Skills

· Focus and Motivation, with an eye for detail
