Our client, a newly formed Government Organisation, whose focus in to project Australia's natural environment and heritage sites as well as our response to climate change and water / energy resources, are Seeking the experience of a Technical Ai Data Specialist for long 12+12+12 month contract, based in Canberra, ACT

Duties of the Technical AI Data Specialist:

• Architect solutions to support the clients projects / programs business needs maximising the data and analytics ecosystem and associated technologies.
• Manage productive stakeholder relationships and associated risks.
• Develop an agreed work-plan of key success indicators, milestones and outcomes.
• Regular reporting against success and effort.
• Contribute towards knowledge and skills transfer.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience in MLOps / AI model operationalisation
• Understanding of ethical AI principles and data privacy frameworks
• Knowledge of common tools: Power BI, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Python, R, Spark etc
• Proven experience demonstrating strong data and analytics technical skills and knowledge -working as a Data Specialist, Data
• Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar in mid-to-large scale environments.
• Highly developed diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication skills both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into data solutions.
