We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Financial Accountant to join a fast-growing hospitality group expanding its footprint in Australia. This full-time role is central to supporting financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting as the business scales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc financial tasks
• Manage payroll tax submissions and Payment Times Reporting System lodgements
• Support BAS, tax reporting, payroll reconciliation, and external audits
• Respond to financial queries and collaborate across departments

Your Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CPA or CA qualified, or actively working towards certification
• 2–5 years of experience in a financial accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in hospitality or food manufacturing is a plus
• Must have valid Australian work rights
