About the Role
As the People & Culture Business Partner, you will support the People & Culture Manager with the P&C strategy across the organisation. You will come with knowledge and expertise across the full employee lifecycle, and support employees with P&C related advice. You will be a seasoned generalist, working closely with the other BPs and administrators within the team, playing a key role in the growth and progression of the organisation. This is a temporary contract, with the potential to convert to permanent. The role is based fully on-site in their office in the Western suburbs.
Duties
As the P&C BP, your duties will include:
- Supporting stakeholders and providing solutions to HR-related queries.
- Assisting leaders and employees through change initiatives, referring to P&C policies and procedures throughout.
- Providing coaching and training to leaders on P&C policies and initiatives, identifying training gaps and rolling out programs when necessary.
- Managing recruitment processes, and providing an excellent onboarding experience for new members of staff.
- Supporting leaders and staff on employee relations and workplace issues, ensuring a positive, respectful and productive work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
- Leading the return-to-work process, supporting injured or ill employees in their transition back to work with tailored plans and accommodations.
- Demonstrating knowledge of EBAs.
- Assisting with employee contracts, recruitment adverts, scheduling interviews, training, compliance etc.
Skills & Experience
To be a successful candidate, you will ideally have:
- Qualifications in Human Resource Management or similar.
- Experience working in a HR function as a BP/generalist.
- Understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and relevant Awards.
- Excellent negotiating, influencing and communication skills.
- Have full working rights in Australia.
- Have a Driver's License and a car.
