Peninsula Hand Therapy is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Administrator to lead and support our front desk team in Mornington. This is a key leadership role within our dynamic healthcare environment, where you'll play an integral part in guiding daily operations and delivering exceptional patient service.

Peninsula Hand Therapy is Mornington Peninsula’s premier clinic for hand and upper‑limb rehabilitation. Led by highly credentialed Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, we specialise in treating a wide range of conditions—including fractures, wrist and elbow injuries, nerve compression syndromes, postoperative reconstruction and neurological deficits. Our clinic combines evidence‑based therapies with patient‑centred care, offering everything from custom waterproof casts to emergency appointments, and a team committed to helping patients return to their work, sport and daily life with the best possible outcomes.

About the Role
This is a full-time leadership position where you’ll be responsible for overseeing front desk operations, mentoring administrative staff, and driving a high standard of client service. You’ll play a key role in coordinating the day-to-day activities of the front desk team while supporting and guiding your colleagues in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities:
Be the Heart of Our Front Desk: Create a warm, welcoming environment for all clients, ensuring everyone feels seen and valued from the moment they walk through the door.
Lead & Coordinate: Oversee daily administrative duties, manage a high volume of appointments, and handle multi-disciplinary booking schedules with ease.
Administrative Excellence: Support clinic operations with billing, payments, and patient record management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with our clinicians, supporting their schedules and ensuring they’re well-prepared for each day.
Mentorship & Support: Lead by example, offering guidance and training to junior administrators and providing backup as needed.
About You

Is a confident team leader, comfortable managing, rostering, and training a team of 6.
Takes a big-picture view to ensure smooth, consistent admin operations across the week.
Proactively improves systems while ensuring quality control and a great patient experience.
Leads effective team meetings and provides regular, clear communication to clinic owners.
Understands basic business practices, can assist with social media, and liaise well with external support teams.
