We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team within a busy food manufacturing facility. This role will focus on stainless steel welding, fabrication, and repairs to support production operations and ensure equipment and infrastructure meet the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG welding, cutting, and fabrication on stainless steel components.
• Perform repairs and modifications on production equipment, pipework, and structural fittings.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Ensure all work meets food industry hygiene standards and site safety requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to maintain precision and durability.

Skills & Experience

• Proven TIG welding and stainless steel fabrication experience, ideally in a food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygienic welding practices.
• Ability to work with thin gauge stainless steel and perform neat, high-quality welds.
• Confident in using hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Trade qualifications in Welding, Fabrication, or a related field (preferred).
