We are currently seeking a Rehabilitation Counsellor or Psychologist to join our growing Sydney team. This role focuses on case management of veteran and serving member rehabilitation clients and SIRA-based NSW Workers’ Compensation cases. For Psychologists, we also offer the flexibility of a hybrid work model (mix of Clinical based work and Casemanagement services.

The Role
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting veterans, serving members, and injured workers through tailored recovery pathways that promote wellbeing, independence, and return to meaningful life roles.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a caseload of clients with physical and/or psychological injuries

Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalised rehabilitation plans

Supporting smooth transitions from military service to civilian life

Applying evidence-based, early intervention strategies

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and liaising with key stakeholders

Preparing high-quality, timely reports reflecting clinical reasoning and outcomes

About You

Essential: Rehabilitation Counsellor (ASORC or Psychologist (AHPRA registered)

Experience in occupational rehabilitation, case management, or return-to-work coordination

Strong knowledge of SIRA-based NSW Workers’ Compensation legislation and veteran rehabilitation frameworks

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

National Police Check & Working with Children Check

Current driver’s licence

Must be based in Sydney however the role is work from home.

Desirable:

Comcare accreditation

Mental Health First Aid training

Previous veteran/serving member rehabilitation experience
