About us: The Healix Centre is a trauma-focused practice located in the heart of Bondi Junction. Founded by Dina Allami and Dana Yalouz—two well-established psychologists with successful solo practices—the centre is the result of their shared passion for trauma-informed care. At The Healix Centre, we treat a broad range of psychological presentations including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, borderline personality disorder, addictions, self-harm, insomnia, low self-esteem, and other common concerns.

About the role: We have an incredible opportunity for a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist/Mental Health Social Worker to join our team and be part of something exciting. We are looking for clinicians that are warm, passionate and aligned with a holistic and relational approach to therapy.

Key responsibilities:

Provide evidence-based, trauma informed psychological services including assessment, treatment, and support to clients dealing with a variety of mental health conditions

Work with a varied caseload

Produce clinical letters and reports as well as maintain clinical notes

Collaborate in a team environment, networking events and peer supervision

What we’re looking for:

Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with AASW.

Eligibility to be a Medicare Provider

Currently hold or willingness to obtain an ABN

Willingness/ability to obtain professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance.

You have experience and are trained in EMDR Therapy (Basic training minimum requirement)

Able to work a minimum 2 days a week

Interested in working with adults, experience working with children and adolescence desirable.

Completed or willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check and Police Check.
