We're seeking an experienced Technology Architect - Business Intelligence (Power BI) to join a leading energy sector organisation in Perth. This role will focus on the design, development, and optimisation of business intelligence and reporting solutions, while mentoring data engineering professionals and ensuring seamless delivery across projects.

This is an initial three month contract with a good chance of extension, paying up to $572.74 plus super

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data warehouse and reporting solutions.
• Deliver and optimise Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
• Design and implement batch and real-time ingestion architectures.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution in production environments.
• Mentor and guide data engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Communicate directly with stakeholders to deliver insights and technical solutions.

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years' experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting.
• Proven expertise with Power BI (dashboards, reporting, data visualisation).
• Strong database knowledge and hands-on development experience.
• Demonstrated ability to optimise reporting and dashboards for performance and usability.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
