PERSOL is recruiting a HSEQ Co-ordinator on behalf of our client, a Construction & Civil Engineering company. This is a full-time, office-based role located in Sydney, supporting Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities for projects on the East Coast.

You'll be working closely with the HSEQ Advisor to assist with the implementation and coordination of safety systems, compliance requirements, and ongoing support for project and site teams. In this posiiton, you will play a key role in ensuring HSEQ standards are maintained across multiple sites. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teams to comply with HSEQ policies and procedures
• Conducting site visits to identify hazards and promote safe work practices
• Assisting with incident investigations and preparing safety alerts
• Coordinating injury management, return-to-work programs, and workers' compensation claims
• Preparing monthly HSEQ reports for East Coast operations
• Organising training sessions, inductions and maintaining records
• Reviewing safety documentation and ensuring up-to-date compliance records
• Contributing to continuous improvement of safety systems and workplace culture

Role requirements:

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• Admin or coordination experience in the construction industry
• In depth knowledge of WHS legislation and HSEQ systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• White Card and First Aid certification (Desirable)
