About the Role

Indigeco is currently recruiting a Site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer on behalf of our client – a well-established, reputable commercial construction company with major projects across NSW and VIC. This role is based on-site in Bomaderry and offers the chance to join a tight-knit team delivering high-quality builds with a strong safety-first culture.

What You'll Be Doing

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and compliance on-site
• Conduct site safety inductions, inspections, and audits
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to maintain safe systems of work
• Maintain site safety documentation (SWMS, incident registers, reports, etc.)
• Drive continuous improvement in site safety and environmental performance
• Ensure WHS legislative and environmental compliance is met and exceeded
• Keep the site tidy, safe, and compliant at all times
• Foster a safety-first, solutions-focused culture on-site

What You’ll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in HSE, Construction, Engineering, or a related trade
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and building safety regs
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Current First Aid certificate
• The ability to work both autonomously and in a team
