With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Finance and Accounting Coordinator to join our team. Experience with Databuild and Xero is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting functions of various development projects

Maintain project costing and job tracking through Databuild and Xero

Process accounts payable/receivable, bank and general ledger reconciliations

Review aged debtors and creditors on regular basis

Process and lodge BAS and PAYG obligations for multiple entities.

Post all property sale and purchase-related entries in the general ledger.

Reconcile GL balances with purchase agreements, settlement statements, and supporting documents.

Ensure accurate classification of assets and liabilities.

Support end-of-month and end-of-year processes

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the construction or property industry

Preferred proficiency in Databuild and Xero

Bachelor qualifications in Accounting or Finance

Knowledge of construction-specific financial processes (e.g., progress claims, retentions, subcontractor payments)

Understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax compliance

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must have current Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position
