About the role

Central Victorian Orthodontics is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant, preferably qualified, to join our team. This is a permanent part-time position.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with a range of orthodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow

Maintaining sterilisation of instruments and clean, organised treatment rooms

Reception tasks including greeting patients, booking appointments, taking payments, managing patient files and records, etc

Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient queries and concerns

Supporting the team in any other duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience and/or qualification as a Dental Assistant. Orthodontic experience helpful but not essential

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner

Excellent attention to detail and an ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Proficient typing and computer skills

A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care

A genuine interest in working as part of a team

Central Victorian Orthodontics is a specialist orthodontic practice in Bendigo. We strive to provide high-quality orthodontic care to patients of all ages, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences. Our days are fast-paced and require a strong team work approach.

Practice hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8am-5pm & Fridays 9am-3pm. However, this role will typically be Mon, Wed and Thurs 8am-5pm position.

Previous orthodontic experience is not essential to apply. We are happy to provide on the job training.

Hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience level.
