About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Parts and Workshop Trades Assistant to join our team at Hume Body Works' in Hume, ACT. As a fulltime Workshop Trades Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the accurate checking of vehicle parts as they arrive throughout the day and distributing them to the vehicles and Tradesmen as necessary. You will also be supporting our skilled tradespeople in the day-to-day operations of our workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the trades and services industry.

What you'll be doing

Managing parts deliverys throughout the day and processing them for vehicles as they arrive

Assisting tradespeople with various tasks in the workshop

Detailing of vehicles prior to handover to customers

Performing general labouring duties, such as loading, unloading, and moving materials and vehicles

Ensuring a safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a labouring or trades assistant role, or a willingness to learn

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe, tidy, and organised work environment

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks

Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic approach to work
