About the company

Our client is highly respected with an excellent industry reputation in garage doors and Colorbond fencing and gates. They have been operating for over 50 years offer and offer a personalised and premium service.

About the role

We are looking for skilled Technicians and Installers who are either from the industry or are mechanically minded, e.g. previously worked in a mechanical workshop. You also need to have great communication skills as your customer service is just as important as your technical skills.

Tasks & Responsibilities (depending on role applying for)

• Attend multiple client sites per day and undertake general repairs and maintenance or Full installation of garage doors
• Engage with customers, communicating the process and how you can assist them
• Use your technical knowledge and problem solving skills to resolve issues and break downs

• Installation of Colourbond Fences and Gates
• Installation of Aluminium Screens

• Forklift License a must
• Fabricating/Welding experience a must
• Asbestos and Silica Awareness (preferred but not essential)

• Garage Door Installation / Garage Door Service Technician
• Fence Installer
• Yard Assistant

* Build a strong rapport with customers to help build future business
* Provide a quality service including general clean up when complete

• Once trained - 1 Saturday per month is rostered into your full time role

Skills & experience

• Hard working and Punctuality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Show initiative and be able to work unsupervised, after an initial training period.
• Have excellent presentation skills (uniform will be provided).
• Min 1 year exp in for installation or Service tech roles
• White card
• Current Drivers License (manual)

Benefits

Rates start at $28 - $35/hour - the more experience you have the higher the rate will be. Ongoing training and support. All tools, uniforms, co phone are provided and after you complete your training (1-3mths depending on role), a company vehicles is also provided.

Overtime is on offer is you would like. Plus a great financial incentive program is also available each month if all your KPI's are met!
