About the Role
This position supports the Finance Manager and Group Finance team in delivering a broad range of accounting and administrative activities, including accruals, prepayments, provisions, BAS and IAS preparation, reconciliations, payroll, banking, and related month-end and quarter-end reporting, as well as assisting in the preparation and updating of the responsible BUs’ monthly/quarterly QSR reporting. The role is key to ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient provision of financial services across the organisation.
Main responsibilities include:
Delivery of high quality financial analysis.
Ensuring successful completion of the monthly and quarterly financial deliverables for the vertical market.
Contributing to effective formulation, documentation and sharing of processes, policies, and procedures.
Effective stakeholder relationship management with an emphasis on fostering excellent business partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Committing to the company’s core values.
What We’re Looking For:
You thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and possess the self-confidence to approach change with enthusiasm.
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, or other relevant professional qualification
CA/CPA membership (Equivalent or working towards it)
At least 3 years of experience in a in a related role, preferably within a commercial software environment
Solid understanding of core accounting principles and applicable accounting standards
You thrive in tackling challenges head-on and finding creative solutions
Highly effective communication skills with high attention to detail
Tech savviness and experience with computerised accounting packages
Energetic and self-motivated being able to work autonomously and in a team-based environment
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains that would be advantageous but not mandatory
High level of adaptability/flexibility coupled with a keenness to learn
