The Role

Supporting one of the organisation’s specialist consulting divisions, this Accountant role offers variety across both financial and management accounting. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, supporting month-end processes, and providing insights to drive business performance. The role is well-suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to build their career within a large, growing organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing accounting procedures, internal controls, and related systems
• Completing end-of-month tasks including journals, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews
• Preparing accurate management reporting and analysis for decision-making
• Advising managers on financial results and helping build financial awareness within the business
• Assisting with statutory accounts, compliance reporting (BAS, FBT, tax) and financial statements
• Supporting preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring actuals against targets
• Ensuring all accounting activities comply with relevant regulations and standards

About You

• Degree-qualified in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA membership (or working towards)
• Commercial accounting experience across financial and management reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Effective communicator with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel, with the ability to analyse and interpret data
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
