With the launch of a brand-new, purpose-built kitchen, we’re on the hunt for a Head Pastry Chef to take the lead of BOH operations. With chocolate as your inspiration, you’ll have the creative freedom to balance customer favourites with new seasonal specials; all while maintaining the precision, consistency and quality the brand is renowned for.

What do you do?
- Oversee pastry production for multiple venues and a wholesale network.
- Lead and mentor a passionate pastry team to foster a positive kitchen culture.
- Design and execute seasonal menus and rotating pastry specials whilst maintaining efficiency, consistency and high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate across the business to drive creativity and business development.
- Champion the values of quality, excellence and sustainability in everything produced.
What do you need?
- 3+ years experience in a senior pastry role.
- Previous wholesale or multi-site production experience (preferred!).
- Strong expertise in laminated pastry and yeasted breads, combined with a creative flair and passion for innovation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for mentoring a young team.
- Organised and process-driven, with confidence using systems such as Excel, ERP and Deputy.
- Proven ability to manage production planning and scale operations.
- Passionate about professional growth and business development, with a drive to make your mark in Melbourne’s competitive hospitality scene.
- A food philosophy rooted in sustainability, seasonality and excellence.
