We are a pastry shop in Ringwood North with a focus on offering quality artisan pastries, pies and cakes. We’re seeking a full time and/or part time pastry chef/baker to join our team.
The Job
· Manage and assist in the production of pies, pasties, quiches and sausage rolls
· Making assorted pastries, slices, cakes and cookies
· Dough preparation & mixing
· Follow trends in the baking industry and develop new products and recipes
· Stock control/ordering of stock
· Ensuring kitchen hygiene and practices
· General cleaning
The Requirements
· Creative and attention to detail
· Proven minimum 2 year experience
· Experienced in large production of pies is preferred
· Able to plan, prioritise and manage time effectively
· Be familiar with bakery equipment
· Friendly and can work as part of a team
· Good english and communication skills
· Able to work weekends
· Own transport necessary for early starts
