Tasks & responsibilities:

As a Salesperson at TopFit Flooring Xtra, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting our extensive range of flooring products, and driving sales growth

Sales and Customer Service: Engaging with customers in a professional and friendly manner, understanding their flooring needs, and providing suitable product recommendations to meet their requirements

Showroom presence, maintaining a welcoming and well-presented environment, and ensuring products are attractively displayed.

Flooring Industry Expertise: Utilizing your comprehensive knowledge of flooring products, including carpet, timber, laminate, hybrid and vinyl to guide customers through the decision-making process and answer any technical questions.

In-House/On site Measuring and consulting: Conducting measurements on site and accurately assessing the flooring requirements for installation

Qualifications & experience:

Previous experience in the flooring industry is essential

Proven track record in sales, demonstrating exceptional conversational and selling skills

Confidence and ability to build rapport with customers, understanding their needs and providing suitable solutions

Strong product knowledge in various flooring categories and aspects such as carpet, timber, laminate, hybrid and vinyl. As well as an understanding of floor levelling systems

Excellent time management, project management, communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail, ensuring accurate measurements and providing accurate scopes of work

Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for achieving sales targets

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Strong computer and administration skills

Current driver’s license as travel will be required

Flexibility and a willingness to work are a must have for this job. This is a Full-Time position including 4 hours alternate Saturdays. 1 RDO per month.
