As a Recruitment Officer at MACSEYE, you'll be joining a busy team in a role with a shared focus on recruitment and administrative support.
Youβll be at the heart of our talent acquisition strategy, collaborating with hiring managers to identify and select top candidates, ensure a smooth recruitment process, support our daily operations with reporting and administration - all in compliance with employment laws, sector regulations, and company policies.
Join us on a fixed-term 12 month contract, in a hybrid role (3 days in East Melbourne, 2 remote) in a supportive team.
This role is for someone with incredible attention to detail, who enjoys keeping busy and having variety in work, and takes initiative.

Job Description
What will you do?
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager in the People Services department, you will
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and candidate profiles
- Utilise diverse sourcing methods to attract potential candidates and conduct initial screenings
- Coordinate interviews, evaluate candidates through assessments, and extend job offers
- Champion daily operations with administration support to the Recruitment Manager, other Recruitment Officers, and Recruitment Administrator
Qualifications
Are you the right person?
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field (preferred) with proven recruitment and administration experience
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, especially in high-volume settings, ideally in a related sector
- Proficient in ATS use and knowledgeable about employment laws
- Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to confidentiality
- Ongoing permanent full-time Australian work rights
