As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Recruitment Officer to join our team and play a key role in building a workforce of skilled and compassionate support workers.
About the Role
The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment of support workers to ensure our participants receive the best possible care. You will work closely with our management team to identify staffing needs, attract quality candidates, and manage the hiring process from advertising to onboarding.
This role is solely focused on recruitment – ideal for someone who loves connecting with people and has a strong eye for talent.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and post engaging job ads across multiple platforms.
Screen applications and shortlist suitable candidates.
Conduct phone interviews and schedule face-to-face or video interviews.
Manage the recruitment process, including reference checks and compliance documentation.
Work with management to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports.
Ensure compliance with NDIS, SCHADS Award, and Fair Work requirements.
Build a pipeline of talented, reliable support workers.
About You
We are looking for someone who is people-focused, organised, energetic and driven to find the very best team members.
Essential Criteria:
Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Understanding of compliance requirements (NDIS experience highly desirable).
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
Experience recruiting within the disability or community services sector.
Knowledge of the SCHADS Award and NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Framework.
