Market Risk Manager position focused on Traded Market Risk Oversight.

This position is based in Sydney and offers a hybrid working environment.

As the incumbent you will join this leading Australian Banks' second line function where you will play a crucial role in providing oversight and Analysis of Traded Market Risk Activity in Financial Markets, along with, consulting on associated issues with the business to improve the Market Risk Management Capability.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor & analyse traded market risk activities and performance including oversight of limit management and delegated authorities
• Support the development and maintenance of Market Risk management framework
• Ensure adherences to relevant Traded Market Risk standards, calculation, and reporting of regulatory capital (APS 116), ASX & Pillar 3 reporting
• Engage with and consult the business to improve risk management capabilities
• Facilitate the introduction of new products
• Contributes to intraday and end-of-day profit and loss and risk estimates reporting

Requirements:

• Excellent tertiary qualifications in a Financial or otherwise related discipline
• At least 3 years' Financial Services experience in Risk Management
• Strong expertise on Traded Market Risk with exposure to regulatory standard APS 116
