Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and highly motivated on-site Registered Practice Nurse to join our team in Malvern. This is an on-site role with fixed daytime hours, providing a stable and supportive work environment. You will work closely with our experienced GPs and skilled support staff, playing a vital role in our commitment to excellent patient care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Administering a full range of immunisations and vaccinations, including children's, travel, and COVID.

Conducting health assessments and delivering comprehensive care for chronic conditions.

Providing wound management and assisting GPs with minor procedures.

Implementing and overseeing infection control protocols, with a focus on instrument sterilisation.

Managing patient results, including reviewing our results inbox and contacting patients on behalf of our GPs.

Maintaining and monitoring clinic stock, including vaccines and consumables.

Collaborating closely with our GPs and Practice Manager to ensure seamless clinic operations.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes

Prior experience working in a general practice environment is essential.

Proficiency with medical practice software, specifically Best Practice, HotDoc, and Cubiko.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to liaise with patients and staff.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced clinic.

A collaborative and positive team player who is adaptable and flexible.

A genuine commitment to providing empathetic, non-judgmental, and professional care to all patients.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current AHPRA Registration.

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a General Practice setting.

Exceptional organisational and communication skills.

Current CPR certification.

Demonstrated experience and training in primary care immunisation and infection control.

Completed the COVID-19 vaccine course.
