We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in the healthcare sector, who will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, compliance, and strategic growth. You will work closely with the CEO, providing expert insights on budgeting and forecasting, while managing and mentoring a Accounts Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and NDIS/Aged Care funding guidelines.

Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasting in collaboration with the CEO.

Provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making and organisational growth.

Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Lead financial audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including NDIS Practice Standards, Aged Care Quality Standards, and CHSP/HCP funding rules.

Implement and maintain effective financial controls and processes.

Mentor and manage the Junior Accounts Manager, providing guidance and support.

Partner with department heads (NDIS, Allied Health, SIL, Aged Care) to optimise financial performance across all services.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualification desirable).

3–5 years’ experience in a similar finance role within the healthcare sector (NDIS, SIL, Allied Health, CHSP, or HCP experience essential).

Strong knowledge of NDIS and Aged Care funding models and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
