We have an opportunity available for a professional and patient centred Administration Officer to join our Administration and Private Practice Team!
Hirondelle Private Hospital is iMH's second private mental health hospital. Hirondelle Private Hospital provides integrated mental health services to the Northern Sydney community. With 45 mental health beds, the team of psychiatrists, medical, nursing and allied health professionals provide a wide range of treatments across inpatient, outpatient and community settings through flexible care pathways.

About the role
Are you dedicated to providing efficient and compassionate administrative support for a mental health-focused hospital and private practice? We are seeking an experienced and committed Administration Officer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, with a strong focus on patient well-being and operational efficiency. This role is available in a Part-Time capacity, 2 days per week.
Duties Include:
Being the first point of contact for patients attending the hospital, including over the phone.
A friendly and welcoming face of the hospital and private practice.
Providing efficient administrative support to DRs as required.
Coordinating patient appointments and referrals.
Patient billing and file management.
Administration support to Day Programs.
Assisting admission of inpatients.
Supporting our clinical team with administrative duties in providing services to our patients.
Essential Requirements
At least 12 months experience working in medical administration.
Excellent people skills and the ability to relate to all clients efficiently and professionally.
Demonstrated handling of confidential patient information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines.
Desirable Requirements
Experience with webPAS and/or Gentu.
Previous experience working in a private hospital setting.
Experience with Hospital Patient Management Systems.
