Join us as a Senior Events Officer and play a leading role in delivering some of Perth’s most iconic and high-profile events. From Elizabeth Quay Shows to New Year’s Eve celebrations and Australia Day festivities, you’ll bring the city to life through unforgettable experiences that inspire pride and connection.
Reporting to the Coordinator Events, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Providing expert operational advice and recommendations on major events aligned with the City’s Event Strategy
- Managing infrastructure, production, and performance content in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and City policies
- Supporting the identification of event opportunities and implementation of event strategies and resource planning
- Reviewing and evaluating event outcomes to support continuous improvement in event delivery
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Extensive experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating major events
- Strong knowledge of risk management and Occupational Safety and Health procedures, including relevant legislation
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships, negotiate, and influence outcomes

Eligibility
To be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:
- A right to work in Australia (e.g. a birth certificate, current passport or current visa)
- A current ‘C’ class Australian drivers licence
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
