We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef who thrives in a busy kitchen and is ready to lead, inspire, and deliver excellence.

The Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations. You’ll lead by example, ensuring high standards of food preparation, consistency, and service across:

À la carte dining

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Corporate functions

Banquets and private dining

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including training, mentoring, and rostering

Assist with menu design, planning, and costing

Oversee prep, cooking, and presentation for functions and à la carte

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)

Manage stock, ordering, and cost control to meet budget targets

Work collaboratively with the events and service teams to deliver seamless experiences

About You

3+ years’ experience as Sous Chef (or strong CDP ready to step up)

Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume kitchens, especially for events/functions

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining consistency

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules

Passion for modern, quality cuisine and presentation
