About the role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Male Disability Support Workers with prior experience to join our team at Infinite Ability. This casual roles are based in Wollert VIC 3750 and will involve providing personalised care and support to individuals with disabilities.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Providing companionship and engaging clients in meaningful social and recreational activities

Advocating for clients' needs and rights, and collaborating with their support networks

Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures

Ongoing participation in training and professional development to enhance your skills

What we're looking for

Proven experience in supporting particpants with mental health diagnosis

Experience in adhering positive behaviour support plan

Experience in providing support to behaviourally challenging participants

A minimum of 1 years of experience working in the disability support sector

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others

A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Any health or community services certificate required

Valid work visa or Australian work authorisation acceptable

NDIS Worker Screening Check required

Current First Aid certification required
