The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Data Conversion Specialist to join our Brisbane-based team on a full-time basis. This role plays a vital part in supporting veterinary clinics during the transition to Covetrus software platforms, ensuring accurate data migration, seamless onboarding, and the delivery of ongoing technical support.
Your responsibilities will include –
Liaising with the Onboarding Specialists to assist in the conversion process of bringing new clients onto Covetrus software
Liaising with clinics to help understand their requirements and to assist them in the importation of their existing data
Completion of data migrations
Liaising with the Development team to assist in new feature implementation and creating processes
Provide consultancy services to our clients by reviewing data to understand trends and gaps in their business
Continual development and maintenance of conversion tools
Assist in the production of documentation relating but not limited to conversion processes
Perform version upgrades to clinic databases when new releases become available
Create and run custom SQL schemas outside of conversion work
Set up of Cloud Clients, using Azure platforms
Bespoke data analysis – internally and externally
Flexibility with work hours to meet customer deadlines is essential
About You
Ideally you will display –
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the IT industry, with demonstrated exposure to practice management systems in either human or animal health.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Proficiency with MS SQL and related tools.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong collaboration, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn from feedback.
