About us
We are a small data consultancy seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Data Analyst to join our team in Brisbane. Our company delivers analytic and consulting services to a diverse range of Not-for-Profit clients.
About the role
As a Graduate, you will play a valuable role in analysing and interpreting complex data sets to help drive the strategic decision-making of our clients. You will work closely with various stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations that support our client goals.
The role is full-time and 2025 graduates would be considered for negotiable start date from October 2025.
This role will suit a recent or soon to graduate candidate or someone early in their career.
About you
To be successful in the role you will be able to:
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and maintain data models and reporting systems.
Use the R programming language to perform statistical analysis and data visualisation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all deliverables.
Ability to build positive rapport with stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in the R programming language is required.
Familiarity with {targets} and {data.table} is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.
Experience with data visualisation tools is a plus.
Familiarity with the technology or consulting sector is desirable.
Familiarity with other programming languages and concepts, such as SQL and Git is desirable.
Familiarity with fundraising is desirable.
Experience handling multiple projects at once is desirable.
