We have a short term position of a qualified and competent carpenter. The project is in Brunswick and further work may be available for someone who fits the role and our team.

Duties

Various carpentry and other building related tasks covering the whole of the duration of a building project. For example: demolition, set-out, framing, lock-up, fixing and repairs. Works may be on a single larger project or on multiple smaller projects.

All work will be of the highest quality and meet all architectural requirements and specifications.

Reporting to the builder: Hours worked, Materials and equipment required and job progress.

Provide hand and basic power tools.

Maintenance of a site diary.

Attendance at site meetings as requested.

Maintain relationships with colleagues.

Compliance with all OH&S and risk management regulation.

Skills and experience required

Relevant trade qualification.

Meet physical requirements for the role (Lifting (up to 20kg), standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, walking, climbing, ability to use hand and power tools)

Self-motivated and managed

Have sound knowledge and understanding of safety requirements

Have excellent time management and organisational skills

Hold a drivers license and a Construction White Card
