Overview
We are sourcing an experienced HR Coordinator on behalf of a leading architecture firm known for its design excellence and collaborative culture. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting people operations. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in recruitment, employee engagement, administrative support, and internal events.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate communications
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in line with compliance standards
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for employees
• Assist in planning and executing internal events such as team-building activities, workshops, and celebrations
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team and wider business, including calendar management, correspondence, and filing
• Coordinate training sessions and track employee development initiatives
• Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
• Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and timely processing
• Contribute to HR reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Requirements
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an HR coordination or generalist role, with proven recruitment experience (sourcing, screening, and interview coordination)
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and time management
• Experience coordinating internal events or employee engagement activities
• Sound understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, creative environment
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
