Job Title: EL1 Product Manager

• Contract: 12 months + extension
• Daily Rate: $900 per day + super
• Location: Sydeny CBD + WFH
• Government Health Industry

About the Role:

The Product Manager will work within the Healthcare Information Provider Service (HIPS) team. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the digital health landscape and government to ensure awareness and uptake of digital health across Australia. You will oversee the development and delivery of contracts and activities between the Agency and specific stakeholders.

The Product Manager develops, drives and implements the product strategy and roadmap for the Agency’s Interoperability Products Platform.

The Interoperability Products team focuses on products which connect different individuals, groups, and institutions across the health care sector in new and innovative ways. Their key areas include understanding resources for connecting diverse health data, promoting interoperability in the health sector, and customising solutions to remove adoption barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build on the product vision for the product and it's capabilities to allow viewing of digital health information
• Engage with various modernisation efforts and projects and establish the role of the product in those efforts
• Reach out to new Collaborate Site stakeholders to identify benefits and reasoning behind the product usage
• Provide regular, timely and quality status reporting and resource allocation
• Ensure delivery and release of the product publications as scheduled

Key Skills:

• Certification in Product Management
• Knowledge and experience of applications development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, proven ability to establish relationships and lead discussions with various partners and executives.
• Demonstrated compliance/alignment with the Statement of Requirement, including developing and influencing business strategy and product strategy.
• Health and government project experience
• Experience in Information Technology, primarily in systems development and maintenance, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline
