About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and delivery-focused Product Manager to lead a high-impact digital transformation initiative within one of Australia’s leading banking institutions.
This role will drive the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms, with a strong emphasis on eCommerce capabilities and payments innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle for digital payments and eCommerce solutions.
• Manage large-scale system migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, compliance, and operations.
• Define and execute product roadmaps aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies in payments and digital commerce.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and security standards are met throughout product development.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in banking, fintech, or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong background in system migration, ideally involving core banking or payment platforms.
• Deep understanding of eCommerce ecosystems, digital wallets, and payment gateways.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Agile and customer-centric mindset with a passion for innovation.

Must-Haves (non-negotiables):

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, ask questions confidently, and adapt in a fast-moving program.
• Payments/merchant/acquiring or retail payments background is highly desirable.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Agile experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Risk management or compliance knowledge.
• Incident/service management experience.
• General knowledge of project management and technical systems
