About the Role
The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.
TAFE SA is seeking experienced, motivated professionals to join our Centre of Excellence team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about education and understand the commitment required to the care and education sector.
You will have extensive industry experience that provides an understanding of and commitment to the early childhood care and education sector, birth to eight years, within a variety of contexts including childcare, pre-school, children’s centres and early learning centres.
There are multiple positions available.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Academic qualifications
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment TAE40116 or later
- Qualifications and experience that represents the early childhood care and education sector, birth to eight years including diploma, bachelor’s and master’s degree levels, as approved by ACECQA

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Development Program.
- Eligible to work in Australia.
