About the role:

Support the Montessori Guide (Lead Teacher) in preparing and maintaining the classroom environment.

Support the Montessori Guide (Lead Teacher) during the work cycle by ensuring the classroom is managed while she completes Montessori presentations with individual children

Assist children respectfully, encouraging independence and concentration.

Observe and follow the child’s lead while ensuring safety and care.

Contribute to a calm, purposeful, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child’s journey.

Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and your team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about working with young children.

Respectful, patient, and calm in approach.

Has experience in a Montessori classroom setting.

Willing to learn and deepen their understanding of Montessori philosophy.

A strong communicator and a supportive team player.

Reliable and committed to the wellbeing and growth of each child.

Strong understanding of EYLF, NQF and Montessori-inspired approaches

Kind, calm and confident team player

Passionate about the early years and committed to ongoing learning

Qualifications:

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards).

Montessori qualification or Certificate preferred but not essential

Current WWCC (Working With Children Check).

First Aid/CPR desirable.
